Good morning. I want to tell you about history of Microsoft. The company was founded by Bill Gaits and Paul Allen in January of 1975. They have written programming language for new computer Altair 8800. In February they made license agreement with Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems (MITS) about using Basic as software for this computer. In the same year Bill Gaits gave logo for their company Microsoft. In first year new company had turnover 16.005$. Microsoft had three peoples. Third was John Dee Maggie. During 25 years Microsoft was leader in the world in software industry. Now I tell about most famous products. Dos was launched in the end 80th. Windows 95 was launched in 1995. Microsoft launched windows 98 in Windows XP was launched in 2001. Microsoft bought all main competitors - Navision, Solomon, Great Plains These products gave Microsoft leading position for 90th. Total profit in 2000 year was 25,3 billion dollars. The company had 57000 in 2004 year. Total profit in 2008 was 44,3 billion dollars. Nowadays, the company has problems with Eurocomision, and internet-companies. But for today Microsoft is leader in software industry.
